Mr Zhuofei Lu

Zhuofei Lu started his PhD program in the Department of Social Statistics in 2021. Zhuofei is interested in the relationship between employment and well-being. Specifically, he is now exploring the impacts of flexible working arrangements on British employees’ subjective well-being, mental health status and time use. He is now using many UK-based data sets, including the 'Understanding society' and the 'UK time use survey. He is looking forward to potential cooperation opportunities. Zhuofei graduated from the MSc in Social Research Methods and Statistics (SRMS) program in the Social Statistics department in 2021. The SRMS program provides him with a series of advanced statistical techniques, which are very important to his PhD research. Before coming to the UoM, Zhuofei studied at Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC).
