Yilong is a Ph.D. student at the University of Manchester. His current research looks at the ways in which same-sex relations and sexuality are perceived, discussed, and represented in queer films in contemporary PRC (People's Republic of China). Specifically, he is interested in exploring queer embodiment in cinema. He completed his BAH from Queen's University and MA from OCAD University, both in Canada, before coming to Manchester.
