Steven is a Doctoral Researcher in Accounting and Finance and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Manchester Accounting and Finance Group, Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS). His doctoral research is funded by the AMBS PhD Scholarship and the University of Manchester President's Doctoral Scholar (PDS) Award.
His main research interests lie in the broad areas of corporate governance and market-based accounting research. He is particularly interested in studying the interplay between stakeholders (e.g., employees) and other market participants such as managers and financial analysts. His recent research has been presented at major international conferences such as EAA and FMA Europe.
Steven has engaged in a wide range of teaching activities for accounting and finance topics at all levels (UG, PG and Executive) in AMBS.
Prior to joining AMBS, Steven completed his MSc with Distinction at King's College London and BSc at the University of Bradford.
