Dr. Weiguang Wang is a Rosetrees/Stoneygate Research Fellow based at Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering, the University of Manchester. His research focuses on engineering the next generation of biocompatible, biodegradable bone tissue engineering scaffolds, harbouring growth factors and antibiotics, mimicking the natural bone tissue regeneration process, and speed up the healing of large scale bone defect. Prior to this Fellowship, he worked as Postdoctoral Research Associate in the same department investigating hybrid 3D printing technologies for tissue engineering applications.
