Overview

I am an hononrary research associate, working on stroke rehabilitation research developing interventions for people with spatial inattention after stroke. I completed my PhD at the University of Manchester, funded by the NIHR Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) Greater Manchester. My PhD research was about understanding the impact of pre-existing dementia on access to stroke rehabilitation. I am a qualified Occupational Therapist and my research aims to improve healthcare services.

My research interests are around stroke rehabilitation, cognitive impairments, dementia, access to healthcare services, clinical decision-making.
