Biography
I am a Lecturer in Pure Mathematics at the School of Mathematics at the University of Manchester, UK. My office is on the 2nd floor of Alan Turing building, at 2.120.
I completed my PhD at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Helsinki in 2012 under the supervision of Pertti Mattila.
After my PhD studies, I worked as a short term Project Researcher at the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Oulu hosted by Maarit Järvenpää until in 2013 I went for one year to the School of Mathematics at the University of Bristol, UK, as a Research Associate to work with Thomas Jordan. During 2014 and most of 2015 I worked as a Research Fellow in Mike Hochman's ERC project at the Einstein Institute of Mathematics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.
From 2015 until my appointment in 2017 as a Lecturer in Manchester I was a European Union funded Marie Curie Research Fellow at the School of Mathematics at the University of Bristol, UK.
