Dr Tugrul Cetinkaya

Tugrul Cetinkaya obtained the PhD degree in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from Sakarya University, Turkey, in 2015. He has involved in five different projects regarding Li-Ion batteries and Li-air batteries in Turkey. He has appointed as a Postdoc Research Associate in 2017 at School of Chemistry, the University of Manchester.

He works on Multi-Scale Analysis Facilities for Energy Storage (Manifest) project. In this project, he studies on pouch cell scale supercapacitor cells using new 2D materials such as graphene and MoS2.
