Theodor Heath received a BEng (Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Manchester, Manchester, U.K., in 2015, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in VSC-HVDC technology under the supervision of Mike Barnes and Peter R Green. His research is on improving modular multilevel converter models for power system analysis.

Theodor is an Industrial Cooperative Awards in Science & Technology (iCASE) student receiving sponsorship from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and National Grid plc.
