Overview
Research
Working towards a PhD in Computer Vision in the Advanced Interfaces Group under the supervision of Dr Tim Morris and Dr Martin Turner.
The aim of the research is to develop algorithms to allow an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to locate itself by visual means. There is a need for this so that UAVs can locate themselves and navigate in environments where GPS is not available or has been denied in some way.
