Dr Stephen Ingram
Lecturer (Tchg Focused) in Philosophy

Overview
Philosophy
I'm currently a Lecturer in Philosophy here at Manchester.
I did my PhD at Sheffield, supervised by Jimmy Lenman and Miranda Fricker.
Before doing my PhD, I was a BA student and then an MA student in Philosophy at Durham.
I like ethics. I especially like metaethics. I am working on a book defending 'robust' moral realism.
I also like thinking about other areas of philosophy, including metaphysics, epistemology, and metaphilosophy.
At present, the majority of my philosophical work falls within two related projects. I discuss these in greater detail here.
