Biography

I am an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) in Innovation at the Alliance Manchester Business School. I received my Ph.D. in Industrial Economics from the Nottingham University Business School. Before joining Alliance Manchester, I was a faculty member at De Montfort University and the University of Nottingham. Prior to my academic career, I held managerial positions in financial and governmental organisations in Russia.

My research examines the scope and performance of technological and innovation management activities in organisations, with a focus on such topics as intellectual property protection, new product development, voluntary standardisation, and academic entrepreneurship. Additionally, I am also interested in studying workforce diversity and the effects it has on organisational outcomes. My papers have been published in top academic journals, including Research Policy and the Journal of Product Innovation Management.

I am a former Chevening Scholar. My research received awards from the British Academy of Management and the Product Development and Management Association. I have also been acting as a reviewer for such journals as Research Policy, the Journal of Product Innovation Management, and the British Journal of Management.
