I am a doctoral student (submission pending) at Alliance Manchester Business School of The University of Manchester. I am also a member and a doctoral student representative of the Work and Equalities Institute (WEI) at the business school, and my research project is looking into some of the inequalities for South Asian British older women in the Greater Manchester labour market from a micro-level perspective.

I am a qualified associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I also sit on the Equality and Diversity (E&D) Committee of Alliance Manchester Business school that holds Athena Swan’s Bronze award for its gender equality and diversity initiatives in higher education and research in the UK.
