My research interest focuses on Critical Security Studies and its late critique on race and racialization. I'm interested in postcolonial and decolonial critiques of International Relations, and in the legacies of African Slave Trade organized by the Portuguese Empire. My current research interest is on the state distribution of violence in terms of race and gender.

Before doing my PhD at the University of Manchester, I have done my master degree at Puc-Rio in Brazil and spent a few month in Paris taking part of an exchange program at Sciences Po.
