I am a research associate on the ESRC/NIHR-funded Neighbourhoods and Dementia Research study and work on work programme 6, where the key focus is to develop a couple-management guide for couples where one partner has a diagnosis of dementia.

I have recently finished my PhD which focussed on understanding the 'in the moment' embodied and sensory experiences of people living with dementia when engaging with music. My PhD was an ESRC CASE studentship with Manchester Camerata, using their innovative music programme for people living with dementia (Music in Mind) as a context for the research.
