Overview

I started my Ph.D. in Law at the University of Manchester in 2014. My research focuses on the potential for climate change mitigation through low-carbon transport in the Indian road and rail transport sector, with special emphasis on the financial support being provided by the Asian Development Bank towards development of low-carbon transport and the opportunities and obstacles faced by the Asian Development Bank while investing in the same.

My general research interests include climate change mitigation, low-carbon transportation and international investment laws. I am particularly interested in the role played by lower carbon emitting means of transportation in mitigating the harmful impacts of climate change.

I am an active member of the United Kingdom Environmental Law Association (UKELE).
