Pierre Pantaleon is a teacher assistant (math tutor) and Graduated PhD Researcher in the theoretical physics group.
Pierre obtained his undergratuate degree (licenciatura) in Physics, in the Faculty of Sciences at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California in Ensenada, México. His work was focused in optics specifically in the developed of numerical algorithms for diffraction screens. He then specialised in electronic transport in mesoscopic systems and obtained a master degree in this area in the same university under the program of "Maestria y Doctorado en Ciencias e Ingenieria". He worked as a teacher and research assistant in the same faculty and then in the School of Engineering Sciences and Technology. In the industry, he was an statistics trainer for Six Sigma Green and Black Belt for ASQ certifications in the Academia Lean Sigma in Mexico and Central-America. He was also Manager of education at El Trompo Science Museum in Tijuana, Mexico.
He joined to the theoretical physics group in september 2014 and until then his research have been focused in a theoretical study of edge states and topological properties of magnetic (spin) lattices.
