Pete Duncan is a PhD Criminology candidate at The University of Manchester. For his PhD, Pete has been awarded an ESRC scholarship to research tax compliance in professional football. Pete completed the MRes Criminology programme at The University of Manchester in 2019, researching local councillor perspectives of 'county lines'-style drug distribution for his dissertation project.

Pete has published blog posts with the British Society of Criminology and Policy@Manchester, and is a member of The University of Manchester's Digital Technologies and Crime and Organisational Non-Compliance research clusters. Pete has been involved in research projects investigating criminal behaviours in online gambling markets and has co-authored a forthcoming book chapter on the topic.
