Pengzhi Li is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Robotics for Extreme Environments Lab at the University of Manchester, currently being mainly involved in the EPSRC IAA project (Development of a Debris Clearance Vehicle for Limited Access Environments). His research interests are mainly focused on micro-/nano-manipulation, semi-autonomous mobile robots, mechatronics and fuzzy control.
Prior to joining University of Manchester, Pengzhi Li has finished his PhD in University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China in 2019. Before that, he had worked in Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences as a full-time researcher from 2011 to 2016.
Pengzhi Li is a recipient of CAS Presidential Scholarship (Excellent Prize) in 2019. He served as a reviewer for some top ranked academic journals such as IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics, IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, and Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing.
