Dr Patricio Troncoso
Honorary Research Fellow
Overview
I'm an Honorary Research Fellow at the Manchester Institute of Education. My latest work involves analysing the pathways that children and young people in need and "on the edge" of the care system undergo throughout childhood and adolescence.
My research interests are mainly within the broad areas of Statistics, Sociology and Education. I have conducted research on the effects of socio-economic inequalities on educational outcomes, such as pupils' progress and school value-added, as well as on the often overlooked non-educational outcomes.
