Overview

I am a Ph.D. student at the School of Computer Science at the University of Manchester, UK. I joined the Advanced Processor Technologies (APT) group in September 2020, where I work under the supervision of Prof. Mikel Luján.

My interests lie in the broader area of computer architecture, with emphasis on reconfigurable computing, special-purpose architectures and heterogeneous systems. I have also been fascinated by the theory of computation and cellular automata.

I hold a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Crete, GR, where I worked under the supervision of Prof. Apostolos Dollas on accelerating cellular automata simulations with the use of FPGAs.
