Overview

Nicole Renehan is a PhD Candidate at the University of Manchester. Nicole was awarded an ESRC scholarship to research the statutory domestic violence perpetrator programme, Building Better Relationships. Nicole also holds the University of Manchester President's Doctoral Scholar Award, in recognition of her commitment and desire to work on a challenging research project in a world-leading research environment. 

Nicole has published in the Routledge Companion to Rehabilitative Work in Criminal Justice in collaboration with international experts who address key issues in working with offenders.

 

Nicole has a practice background in domestic abuse within a multi-agency setting and has developed and delivered programmes for victims of abuse and training for social workers. Nicole has also spent many years working with children and young people with disabilites, challenging behaviour and young men in a secure setting.
