Biography
Navid joined the University of Manchester in 2020 and is currently a Research Associate at the school of Chemical Engineering and Analytical Science. He received his PhD in low carbon emission power systems from Cranfield University in 2020 in the UK. His main activities at the University of Manchester fall into several categories, mainly related to reducing the energy demand and carbon footprint from seel industry by combining process modelling, techno-economic analysis and life cycle assessment. Navid has a broad research interest including gas-solid reaction such as chemical looping, acid gas removal through absorption technologies, energy conversion and biofuel production from biomass gasification.
