Overview

Mohamed Genawi is a doctoral researcher and research assistant within the Comparative and International Business Group at Alliance Manchester Business School.

Under the supervision of Prof. Stefan Zagelmeyer and Prof. Rudolf Sinkovics, Mohamed’s doctoral research seeks to investigate the institutional conditionalities for perceptions of legitimacy amongst MNEs’ stakeholders. His study seeks to employ instances of business engagement with human rights as a focus.

As a research assistant, Mohamed has been involved in several ongoing research projects within the field of business and human rights. Most recently, he has worked under the supervision of Prof. Stefan Zagelmeyer to explore the determinants of advanced-economy MNEs' corporate disclosures on human rights.
