Biography

Mingyang Lu (PhD, BEng, MIET, MIEEE) received the B.S. (2014) and Ph.D. (2018) degree at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Manchester, mainly working on developing a finite-element method (FEM) software to solve electromagnetic (EM) simulation taking into account random geometry and material properties (including microstructure). He is currently a research associate with the University of Manchester, U.K. He has authored or co-authored over 45 publications. His current research interests include modelling magnetic induction effects, Finite-element method (FEM) modelling software packages on electromagnetic (EM) simulations, computational electromagnetics, eddy currents, electromagneitc sensors, and inversion of EM properties for metallic structure.

He has conducted over 170 reviews for 27 prestigious Journals and conferences. Verified reviews are available at: https://publons.com/researcher/1631456/mingyang-lu/peer-review/
