Biography
I took my first degree in English & American Literature from the University of Kent at Canterbury and then completed my Ph.D at Birkbeck College, University of London. I have taught at Exeter University, the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, Northampton University and Lancaster University. I joined English & American Studies at the University of Manchester in 2006.
