Mr Meredydd Kippax-Jones
Overview
Meredydd is a 2nd year Chemistry PhD student investigating the adsorption of toxic gases by metal-organic frameworks. Infrared spectroscopy is a useful tool for examining the chemical interactions between different species. In a collaberation with the Diamond Light Source, he will be developing a novel in-situ microreactor cell for use on beamline B22 to examine interactions between highly corrosive gases and MOFs.
