Dr Matteo Ronzani

Biography
Matteo Ronzani joined Alliance Manchester Business School in 2020 as Lecturer in the Accounting and Finance Division. He studies the effects of performance measurement practices and technologies of calculation in organizations and society, focusing primarily on data visualizations, multimodal communication, and gamification. Empirically, he investigates these issues in settings such as megaprojects, international organizations, and large-scale humanitarian crises. Matteo’s research has been published in Accounting, Organizations and Society, Organization Studies, and Research in the Sociology of Organizations.
Currently, Matteo is involved in the teaching of the following courses: Introductory Management Accounting (UG), Advanced Management Accounting (UG), Qualitative Research Methods (PGT), Advanced Accounting Research (PGR), and Measuring Business Value (Exec) as part of the MSc Management Practice Senior Leader Apprenticeship programme.
