Overview

Matina's PhD is a multi-method investigation of the mechanisms underlying co-occurring violence and self-harm (dual-harm) in forensic populations. Her research approaches this topic at multiple angles, utilising qualitative, longitudinal and secondary data analysis approaches. Matina has been awarded the ESRC grant from the North West Social Sciences Doctoral Training Partnership for her PhD.
