Biography
Mark joined CCSR in 1996 with a background in geography and demography. He has wide experience of teaching quantitative methods at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and held a number of research grants in the field of curriculum innovation. He is currently co-leading The Mancheser Q-Step Centre www.manchester.ac.uk/q-step/ an inter-disciplinary project to embed and expand the use of quantitative data and methods in undergraduate Social Science programmes at Manchester. He was awarded a university Teaching Excellence Award in 2012/2013
