Maggie is a systematic reviewer and methodologist. She works part time (0.4 WTE) mainly conducting complex systematic reviews to improve health outcomes for people with chronic wounds.


Maggie joined the University of Manchester in September 2014. She had previously worked for 10 years on NICE clinical guidelines, particularly in the conduct and methodology of systematic reviewing and guideline development. She was involved in training and mentoring other reviewers and in developing a web-based database application for reviewing. She previously had a Daphne Jackson Fellowship for women returners at the UK Cochrane Centre, working on methodology and systematic reviewing. Maggie is concurrently doing a part-time MSc in Social Epidemiology.
