Biography
After graduating with an IPML (Integrated Professional Masters in Languages) from the University of Manchester, I decided to continue at the university to undertake my doctoral studies. Funded by the AHRC NWCDTP, I am currently conducting research into animal ethics and moral philosophy in early modern France, focusing in particular on the concept of care.
Throughout my undergraduate and Masters studies, I received a number of awards at the University of Manchester: Undergraduate Student of the Year for the Faculty of Humanities in 2015, an Outstanding Achievement Award in 2018, and Millward Scholarships for French Studies in 2014 and 2015.
