Overview

I am a Theoretical Physics PhD student under the supervision of Professor Vladimir Fal'ko at the National Graphene Institute and I am part of the Graphene NOWNANO Centre of Doctoral Training (CDT).

Within the CDT, I am a student representative on the Outreach team where I write the monthly newsletter and volunteer at public engagement events. In addition, I am a "Scientist in Residence" at Withington Girls' School where I work with the SciSoc students.

As a commitee member of the Institute of Physics Theory of Condensed Matter group, I help organise the annual Theory group meeting as well as Physics by the lake, a Theory of Condensed Matter summer school for graduate students.

Qualifications

I completed my Masters in Theoretical Physics at Lancaster University from 2013 to 2017 and my Masters project was titled "The Exceptional Points of Topological States".
