Overview

I trained as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in 1990 and have worked clinically accross a broad range of areas such as acute inpatients, homeless teams, over 65s, community nursing and A and E liasion. In 2001 I started a senior clinical specialist post in Affective Disorders which led to my PhD in Psychoeducation in those who suffer from Bipolar Disorder.

I accross roles in private healthcare, NHS management and lecturing undergraduate and postgraduate medical students at Manchester University.
