Overview

I am a Research Fellow in the School of Nursing, Midwifery & Social Work. My current project is involved in the development of a prognostic tool for patients with life limiting conditions.  

Biography

Since completing my PhD at The University of Manchester at the end of 2009 I have worked on a number of health service research projects within both primary and secondary care. I had previous completed a Masters in Applied Social Research at The University of Manchester and a BSc (hons) (1st class) in Health Sciences at the University of Salford.  My research interests are in Qualitative Research Methods, Patient and Public engagement and satisfaction in healthcare. mHealth and improving access to health care and improved collaboration between patients and researchers utilising health informatics. I also have an interest in stratigies to improve recruitment and retention in randomised controlled trials.
