Overview

I am a Presidential Fellow in Organisational Psychology at Alliance Manchester Business School. I received my undergraduate degree (BA Classics, BA Psychology) from the University of Rochester in the US and my MSc and PhD in Organisational Psychology from the University of Manchester. I worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the Institute of Work Psychology at the University of Sheffield. I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

My research mainly seeks to understand why people do 'bad things' at work. I am interested in using behavioural ethics to explain workplace bullying, particularly in relation to bystanders, who are an overlooked group within bullying research. I'm interested in how moral processes and differences can help us explain unethical behaviours at work. I am also involved in intervention evaluation projects across several topics, such as well-being through my postdoctoral work. I am also involved in an mKTP project that is developing and evaluating a team agility intervention.
