My thesis is on the elusive Jesus in Luke-Acts and in its literary context (ancient Mediterranean thought). My research involves exploring motifs and characterisations of elusiveness in Jewish and Graeco-Roman literature (including biblical texts) in comparison with Luke-Acts. My project is interdisciplinary with Religions & Theology (Biblical Studies) and Classics & Ancient History.

My thesis is supervised by Dr. Peter Oakes (Religions & Theology) and Prof. Stephen Todd (Classics & Ancient History)
