Joshua is a PhD Researcher and Graduate Teaching Assistant in Politics at the University of Manchester. He specialises in environmental politics, international development and public policy.

His research examines coastal and ocean governance with a focus on marine biodiversity conservation. 

His research is supervised by Dr Carl Death and Dr Paul Tobin.
