Overview

Johannes Kleinhempel is a Presidential Fellow in Comparative and International Business at the People, Management & Organisations Division of the Alliance Manchester Business School. Previously, he was a PhD candidate at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, and visiting PhD student at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Prior to commencing graduate studies, he worked in product and project management at a German high-tech start-up. 

His main research interest is comparative international entrepreneurship research. His research is currently supported by the British Academy and Leverhulme Trust and has been published in leading journals and proceedings, including Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice and Frontiers of Entrepreneurship Research - BCERC Best Paper Proceedings. He regularly presents at leading international conferences, such as AIB, AOM, BCERC, EIBA, and SMS.
