Ms Jingwen Zhang

With a background in demography and social medicine, Jingwen is interested in healthy ageing, gender and life course theory. Her PhD project focuses on the interplay of rural-urban migration, gender and wellbeing in later life from a life course perspective using quantitative methods. Prior to her PhD, she has also conducted research on domestic violence, the timing of family formation, and older people's work trajectories. She has experiences in using longitudinal data analysis and survey analysis methods. 

Jingwen's work is funded by the ESRC (Advanced Quantitative Methods pathway). She is also a student representitive at the ESRC North West Social Science DTP.
