I am Lecturer in International Education in the Manchester Institute of Education (MIE) at the University of Manchester. My research expertise is on international students' transition experiences in higher education (particularly social and academic transitions). I am also interested in broader aspects of developing ethical and sustainable curriculum internationalisation in higher education. My research projects have additionally included studies on supporting doctoral students' experiences and the role of technology in curriculum internationalisation.

In my teaching capacity, I am the Research Methods Coordinator for MA students and am course leader for the two required research methods course units (EDUC60011 and EDUC60452). I am also the departmental coordinator for PGR students in MIE, where I provide developmental and pastoral support for our 75+ PhD researchers.
