I am a social anthropology PhD student researching the social, political, and economic conditions and implications of Free and Open Source Software in India. During my professional and academic career I have designed, conducted, written up, and presented qualitative and quantitative research. My professional research has been in the area of survey pre-testing. My academic research has focused on technology workers, South Asia, and globalization processes as well as issues related to international development, volunteers in the healthcare sector, and worker identity.
