Overview
I currently catalogue roughly 1,000 Persian manuscripts held in the John Rylands Research Institute and Library collections, develop metadata records in TEI (Text Encoding Initiative) for digitized volumes uploaded to Manchester Digital Collections, and also contribute records to Fihrist, the UK’s Union catalogue for manuscripts from the Islamicate world. In addition, I am finishing my doctoral dissertation on 16th-century paper marbling at the Leiden Institute for Area Studies (LIAS), Leiden University.
