I am working as a Research Associate in implementation science within the Division of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work funded by NIHR Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care Greater Manchester (CLAHRC GM) Wound Care Programme. I work across a range of CLAHRC wound care projects, in particular the ILUMIN project which aims to improve the management of leg ulcers in community nursing.

I am a HCPC-registered, chartered Health Psychologist and am trained in Motivational Interviewing. I hold a (Hon) contract with the Gastroenterology department within Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and provide behaviour change support to individuals with long-term conditions such as Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

My research interests surround lifestyle behaviour change and health professional behaviour change. I am interested in designing, developing and evaluating complex interventions and I am skilled in using both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
