Overview
I am a Lecturer in communication skills and behavioural and social sciences in Medical Education, including the MB ChB and Physician Associate courses. My interests surround wellbeing, health behaviour change and health professional behaviour change.
I am HCPC registered, chartered Health Psychologist and am trained in Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and commitment Therapy and Compassion focused Therapy. I hold a (Hon) contract with the Gastroenterology department within the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and provide behaviour change support to individuals with long-term conditions such as Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
I have worked on a number of research projects and am skilled in using both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
