Overview

I am a Lecturer in communication skills in Medical Education. I deliver teaching on communication skills and Behavioural and Social Sciences. My interests surround student wellbeing, lifestyle behaviour change and health professional behaviour change.

 

I am HCPC registered, chartered Health Psychologist and am trained in Motivational Interviewing. I hold a (Hon) contract with the Gastroenterology department within the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and provide behaviour change support to individuals with long-term conditions such as Inflammatory Bowel Disease.  

 

I have worked on a number of research projects and am skilled in using both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
