I completed a BA in History and an MSt in Medieval History at Merton College, Oxford (2006-2010) before moving to Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge for my PhD (2010-2014). I then held a DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) postdoctoral scholarship at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen (2014-15) before taking up a Junior Research Fellowship at Hertford College, Oxford (2015-2018). In autumn 2018, I started as a Lecturer in Medieval History at Manchester. My research to date examines themes relating to governance, monasticism, and Christianization in the early medieval ages.
