Overview

Senior Lecturer in Maternal and Fetal Health

Biography

My research career has been dedicated to many aspects of pregnancy and its clinical complications - from my early studies of the immunology and vascular biology of pregnancy, to more recent work on the human placenta and its pathophysiology. I’m past recipient of a NIHR Personal Award and prestigious Gabor Than Award from the International Federation of Placental Associations for my outstanding contributions to placental research.
