Hongwei He is a Chair Professor of Marketing at Alliance Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester; Associate Head of MSM Division for Social Responsibility and Engagement, and a Senior Associate Editor for Journal of Business Research, acting as Editor-in-Chief for a number of tracks incl. Business Ethics and CSR, Strategic Management, OB/HRM. He served as an Associate Editor for Group & Organization Management in the past. Professor He's main research areas are Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility, Branding, Consumer Psychology and Organizational Behaviour (mainly from identity, emotion, and moral perspective), and Leadership. Professor He has co-edited three special issues in journals incl. Journal of Organizational Behavior, Group & Organization Management, and Industrial Marketing Management. His work has been widely published or forthcoming in a variety of leading academic journals including Annals of Tourism Research, British Journal of Management, European Journal of Marketing, Group & Organization Management, Human Relations, Human Resource Management, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Organizational Behavior, The Leadership Quarterly, etc.. Professor He has supervised numerous projects for multinational corporations and non-profit and governmental organizations, such as Behavioural Insights Team of the Cabinet Office and Department for Business, Innovation, and Skills (UK Government).
Professor He is a co-author of the latest Kotler's textbook of Principles of Marketing 8th European Edition.
