Overview

Helen graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a first in Economics (MA Hons) in 2017. From there she went on to complete her MSc Economics (Economics of Health) at the University of Manchester (graduating with distinction), while also working as a research assistant part-time within Health Organisation, Policy and Economics (HOPE) in the Centre for Primary Care.

Helen began her PhD in October 2019, funded by the International Alliance for Cancer Early Detection (ACED). Her thesis focuses on economic issues in the delivery and organisation of services for early detection of cancer.
