Postgraduate researcher investigating ageing and degradation mechanisms of high voltage electrical materials within an aerospace environment, with a focus on polymeric insulation typically used within motor, electronic components and cabling applications of a more-electric aircraft. The work is carried out as part of the Materials for Demanding Environments CDT within the school of Electrical and Electronic Engineering under the supervision of Prof Ian Cotton.
Project is sponsored by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and Rolls-Royce plc.
