Gail Hebson joined Manchester Business School as a lecturer in Human Resource Management in 2005. Prior to that she worked as a research associate in the European Work and Employment Research Centre at the Manchester Business School on a range of projects, including research funded by the ESRC Future of Work Programme and the European Gender Group on Social Inclusion and Employment. She completed her PhD at University of Bristol in 2001.
Gail’s main research interests lie in the study of gender relations and equality in the workplace. She has a wider interest in research that focuses on the changing experience of work for those in low skilled occupations and exploring this through in-depth qualitative work. Gail currently teaches Human Resource Management at undergraduate level and also teaches on the MSc in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations.
