Overview
I'm a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at The University of Manchester, focused on researching explainability methods for Natural Language Processing (NER & Text Classification) to detect emerging patterns of modern slavery from shared narratives of migrant workers.
Additionally, I'm a technologically minded professional with +10 years of hands-on experience in Data Science / Machine Learning projects across Latin America and Europe, both in business and academia.
Working closely with C-level executives and senior stakeholders, I have developed a high business acumen in Retail, FMCG, Higher Education, Financial Services, and the Healthcare sector.
Finally, I have worked as an international lecturer for both undergraduate and graduate courses in Data Science, Machine Learning, Business Analytics, Data Mining and Quantitative Marketing.
